ENGLISH VERSION - The third volume of the "SUPERFLY" series is available, entitled "Sedge & Stonefly - Tying images, pupae, nymphs, larvae". This concludes the trilogy of the three priority orders: Mayflies, Trichoptera and Plecoptera. The next book will deal with imitations of terrestrial insects and other orders of aquatic hexapods.
This work offers imitations of trichoptera and stoneflies in all their possible morphologies, from larvae and nymphs to emergent and adult, including the so-called cripple and stillborn.
You will not find polymers, but only natural feathers and hair, not so much for the problem of plastic pollution, which would already be a sufficient reason, but because I've always instinctively hated them.
On the other hand, you will experience different innovative types of construction, capable of making sedge and stonefly wings decidedly more robust, and at the same time more imitating and floating. And also easier to tie.
